Chess Suite / Events & results
Publish ratings and results
Prepare the records and sources displayed in your public chess results areas.
Prepare the source
- Open Ratings & Results from the Events & Meetings workspace. Decide whether you are working with local results, ratings or the available FIDE-related workflow.
- Check player identities and identifiers before entering or importing data. Similar names can refer to different players; use the source identifiers wherever the workflow provides them.
Review before publishing
- Enter or import the records using the fields and format requested by that screen. Review any import report and resolve unmatched or invalid rows before relying on the result.
- Check event names, dates, score values and rating sources. Sample ratings and sample results must be replaced or removed before a public launch.
- Open the public ratings or results page and verify a few records against your source. Check how visitors search or filter the information.
Keep it current
- Use the same source and update process consistently. If data looks stale, check when your source was updated and whether the import or synchronization completed.
- If the public page is empty, review its page assignment and the published data. Send support the import report and a small non-sensitive example of the problematic row if you need help.
