Chess Suite / Members & payments

Connect and test payment options

Prepare the payment methods used by your organization’s registration and membership forms.

Choose the methods you offer

  1. Open Chess Suite → Connections. Review the payment settings for cash, bank transfer and the supported online providers you intend to use.
  2. For cash, make it clear when and where the person should pay. For bank transfer, supply the instructions required by your organization. A staff member must check receipt before recording payment as confirmed.

Connect an online provider

  1. Follow the fields shown for the provider and enter credentials for the environment you intend to use. Keep test credentials with test mode and live credentials with live mode.
  2. Check the currency, payment amount and account receiving the payment. Complete any connection or notification configuration requested by the settings screen. Available payment methods depend on your provider configuration and eligibility.

Test the complete journey

  1. Use the provider’s test environment where available. Submit a membership application or tournament entry, choose the method and complete its test checkout.
  2. Return to the appropriate application or registration record. Confirm that the amount, status and reference agree with the provider result. Also try a cancelled payment so that an unfinished checkout does not appear paid.
  3. Before accepting real entries, review the live configuration and repeat the public-page checks. The marketing demonstrations show interface behavior; they do not establish a working payment connection on your website.

When something fails

  1. Record the time, selected payment method and exact displayed error. Check provider status and the related application or registration before trying another payment.
  2. Send support the product version and error details with sensitive account data removed. Payment errors in SloopStack Account checkout concern your software purchase; payment errors on your own chess website concern its configured provider.
