Manage minutes and recordings
Find saved meeting records and check their storage and access.
Review the record
- Open Meeting Records or use Open recordings & minutes from the meeting editor. Select the meeting and check that its minutes and any recording are present.
- Read the saved minutes and confirm that decisions and follow-up tasks are complete. Check the recording’s saved status; starting a recording is not the same as successfully saving one.
Storage and access
- Review the meeting record’s viewing permissions separately from the meeting’s public event audience. Test with a user who should have access and one who should not.
- If your installation uses Google Drive archiving, connect and review that service through the meeting settings. Without a Drive connection, recordings use the private website archive described by the product.
- Confirm the destination and successful save before removing another copy. Follow your organization’s retention process when deleting recordings or minutes.
If a recording is missing
- Check the meeting, recording status and storage connection. Record the meeting time and the error shown rather than repeatedly starting another recording.
- Ask support with the meeting identifier, installed version and storage-related error. Avoid sharing private meeting content unless it is needed and you have permission to share it.
