Switch designs and manage sample content
Choose a new starting point while keeping track of your existing website choices.
Choose a collection
- Open Starter Sites and compare Studio, Heritage, Modern Arena and Momentum. Consider how the layout suits your content, not only the example photographs.
- Record your current design and take a backup before making a substantial change to a live website. Check the preview, then decide whether to apply the layout alone or its colors and typefaces too.
Apply and review
- Read the import acknowledgement and apply the chosen layout. Visit your homepage and the important public routes afterwards. Review the active front page, menu links and section order.
- Replace example images and text with your own. Check contact details, sponsor links and event dates in particular; importing a design does not make sample information correct for your organization.
Restore or clean up
- If the new settings are unsuitable, use the available restore action for the previous site, brand, design and homepage settings. Imported demo records remain available for editing or manual removal.
- Use Remove Sample Content only after reviewing what is identified as sample data. Keep a backup and do not remove genuine member, event or course records to tidy up an example layout.
