Customize with Website Studio
Edit the public website visually, arrange sections and publish a checked result.
Open the editor
- Sign in to your WordPress site with an account allowed to edit the website. Open the public page and enter Website Studio using its editing control.
- Select the area you want to change. Use the controls for that section to edit its heading, text, images and buttons. Keep a clear distinction between a button’s visible label and its destination URL.
Change branding and section order
- Choose the accent color in the design controls and watch the preview update. Check links, buttons and headings against their backgrounds. A bright accent that looks good in a swatch may be hard to read as text.
- Open Homepage sections. Grab the dotted handle for a section, drag it to the desired position and release. Use the arrow controls for a precise single-position move or when dragging is inconvenient.
- Review the public preview after reordering. Update any links that referred to a section you removed. Use Undo for an unwanted recent edit before making further changes.
Save, preview and publish
- Save your draft before leaving the editor. Review the page at desktop and mobile widths, including text wrapping, images and button labels.
- Publish when the draft is ready. Open the website in a separate signed-out window and verify the published version; your editor preview can include changes visitors do not see yet.
If your change is missing
- Check whether the change was saved as a draft or published. Confirm that you edited the page visitors are opening, then refresh cached pages if necessary.
- If a section’s text is clipped, shorten an oversized heading or review its layout at a narrow width. Check both the content panel and the public preview; a hidden panel is not proof that content was deleted.
