Create courses and lessons
Build a course, arrange its lessons and verify what a learner can access.
Create the course
- Open Courses & Resources in the learning workspace. Add a course with its title, description and image. Complete Course Level, Instructor and Estimated Duration where useful.
- Review the course’s access and enrollment options before publishing. Decide who should see the course overview and who should be able to open lessons.
Add and arrange lessons
- Create each lesson and associate it with the intended course. Add the teaching content and any resources, then put the lessons in the intended order.
- Preview links, embedded media and files. Use files and media that your learners are allowed to access; a file linked from a restricted page may still need its own access protection.
Test as a learner
- Publish the course and lessons when ready. Open the course listing and course overview using a test learner account, then check enrollment or access as configured.
- Open the first lesson and mark it complete. Check the progress display and navigation to the next lesson. Test again with an account that should not have access.
- If a lesson is missing, check its course association, publication status and order. If access is incorrect, inspect the course and account settings before changing public visibility.
